How It Works

3 simple steps to better communication.

  1

A free, 30-minute consult can be completed over the phone or via email. This is your chance to ask questions and our chance to go over a few details. If at the end you’re ready to take the next step toward better communication, we’ll verify your benefits (if applicable) and set an appointment for your in-home or online evaluation.

  2

An initial comprehensive speech/language/cognitive evaluation is scheduled. Please allow about two hours (120 min) to complete, and at least one family member/caregiver familiar with the client must be present. The evaluation involves not only testing, but getting to know the PWA and the family. This is essential to designing your treatment plan. The fee covers the initial evaluation and follow-up assessments for progress unless there’s been more than 6-month gap between treatments. Visit our FAQs to view things you should know for Original Medicare Beneficiaries and Medicare Advantage & other insurance.
  3

Treatment is provided one-on-one and in the client’s home or online. Session lengths are based on client needs/goals and can be up to 90-min. Clients can schedule sessions up to 4 days a week. Treatment utilizes the LPAA approach and includes not only the individual’s goals, but family education and training.
